1. The Lorikeet service

Lorikeet is an Australian education platform that helps teachers, homeschool parents and education professionals generate curriculum-aligned lessons, worksheets, quizzes, reports, administrative documents, SEND supports and other teaching resources using AI.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

3. Student data and school responsibilities

If you enter student information, you confirm you have authority to do so and that your use complies with your school, department, organisation, parent/guardian consent requirements and applicable law. Use only the minimum information needed. Sensitive tools such as Report Writer, Support Profile, Social Story and IEP Goal Generator are drafting aids only.

4. AI-generated content

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

6. Your content and Lorikeet content

You retain rights in content you enter into Lorikeet. You grant Lorikeet the permission needed to process that content to provide, secure and improve the service. Subject to these terms, you may use generated teaching resources for your own classroom, homeschool or education work. Lorikeet branding, software, design, templates, prompts, systems and platform content remain owned by Lorikeet or its licensors.

7. Third-party services

Lorikeet uses third-party services such as hosting, authentication, payment and AI providers. Your use of payment services may also be subject to Stripe's terms. External links and third-party resources are provided for convenience and are not controlled by Lorikeet.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Lorikeet available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue parts of the service, especially during beta and early launch.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lorikeet is not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, lost profits, lost data, school/parent disputes, or decisions made using unreviewed AI outputs.

10. Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create security or legal risk, misuse student data, fail to pay subscription fees, or use the service in a way that may harm Lorikeet or others.
